Every Danilos piece is handcrafted in our San Pedro Sula atelier and prepared for shipment with the same care it was built with. Below is what to expect for processing, delivery, duties, and the rare occasion when a piece needs to come home.

Where We Ship

We ship from our atelier in San Pedro Sula, Honduras to addresses within Honduras and the United States. We do not currently ship to other countries.

Processing Time

Every piece is handcrafted, not mass-produced. Orders to the United States typically ship within 5–8 business days; orders within Honduras ship within 3–5 business days. Orders are not processed after Friday at 12 p.m. EST, on weekends, or on holidays. Slight variations can happen due to craftsmanship or carrier schedules.

Shipping to the United States

US shipments travel via DHL on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. The checkout price represents the full landed cost — freight, customs handling, and import duties are all included, so nothing additional is owed when the parcel arrives.

Final totals may vary slightly due to carrier or exchange-rate fluctuations. Packages without DDP may require pickup at the local customs office; remote-area surcharges may apply. US sales tax is calculated at checkout once your address is entered — certain states such as Florida apply additional local taxes automatically.

Free standard shipping is available within Honduras on orders totaling $450 USD or more (after discounts, before tax). Overnight shipping is available exclusively within Honduras — additional charges apply and availability must be confirmed prior to dispatch.

Tracking

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order ships. Tracking can take up to 24 hours to activate with the carrier after the email arrives.

Other Terms

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or unsupported destinations. Danilos is not responsible for customs delays, inspections, or carrier disruptions outside our control.

Returns & Exchanges

Items can be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided they are unused, in optimal condition, and accompanied by the original invoice. To begin, email info@danilos.com with your order number and the reason for return. The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or shipped in error.

Exchanges follow the same 30-day window and condition requirements and depend on availability. If the piece you want is out of stock, we can offer another piece of equal value or a credit note.

Final-Sale Pieces

The following are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded:

  • Personalized, embossed, or monogrammed pieces
  • Gift cards

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you about the refund. Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method. Shipping, handling, and DDP fees are non-refundable unless the item arrived defective. Refunds are issued in the original form of payment.

Damaged or Defective Orders

If your piece arrives damaged or defective, contact us right away at info@danilos.com with your order number and photos of the piece and packaging. We will coordinate the resolution with DHL directly.

Warranty

We warranty our accessories against manufacturing defects for 6 months from the date of purchase. Warranty claims require the original invoice. Holiday Shipping

Handcrafted production, limited seasonal capacity, and potential carrier delays mean no order is guaranteed to arrive by a specific date, including Christmas. Orders placed after December 16 are especially subject to delay. Danilos is not responsible for transit issues or delivery timelines impacted by carrier performance or holiday volume.
